Your privacy matters

How we collect, use, store and protect your personal information across this site and our courses.

Last updated: 1 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lipstick Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 15 619 120 482), trading as Nexus Practice Management (“Nexus”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information when you visit nexuspracticemanagement.au or enrol in our courses. We handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Who we are

We are Lipstick Consulting Pty Ltd, trading as Nexus Practice Management, based in Sydney, NSW. You can reach us at hello@thenexuscollective.au about anything in this policy.

2. What information we collect

We may collect your name and email address; your phone number and any details you choose to give us; billing information (your card details are handled directly by our payment provider, not stored by us); your account login and course progress, including quiz results; the content of messages you send us; and technical information collected automatically, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view.

3. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you enrol, contact us or complete a form; automatically through cookies and analytics when you use our site and courses; and from the service providers that help us deliver the courses, such as our course platform and payment provider.

4. Why we use it

We use your information to provide and administer our courses, process your payment, issue your certificate, provide support, send you course-related communications, send marketing where you have agreed to receive it, improve our courses, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We share your information only with trusted service providers who help us run the courses and website — our course platform (Thinkific), our payment processor, our email and communication tools, and our analytics provider — and we require them to protect it. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Storage and security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers, including our course platform, store or process data outside Australia (for example in Canada, the United States or the European Union). Where your information is handled overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is treated consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

8. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it if it is wrong, by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time and let you know if we are unable to act on a request and why.

9. Email and marketing

If you have agreed to hear from us, we may send course updates and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time — this will not affect the course-related messages we need to send to deliver your enrolment.

10. Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first at hello@thenexuscollective.au and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its “last updated” date, will always be available on this page.
